Size. . .does it matter?

Someone recently shared with me that they had been told about a waxing place that was charging more for plus sized clientele.  I don’t know where this place was or if it was even in this state, so I’m not commenting on this place but on this practice. I have so many questions about the criteria and they are as such:

Who decides I am plus size?

How do you decide my size?

Do you weigh me?

Do you measure me and determine my BMI?

Do you have a chart?

Do you ask me what size I wear?

Do you measure the size of my vagina compared to other smaller vaginas? Or my legs?

What if my legs are extra long or am I SUPER tall?  Does that result in an extra long leg wax service charge as well?

How can you look me in the face and tell me I am going to pay more for a brazilian wax because I am plus size?

Are you trying to go out of business?

WHAT IN THE ACTUAL WORLD IS GOING ON?! 

I can tell you that at Beach Ready Waxing both Brandon and Lakeland, Florida, you will never be discriminated against by your size.  SIZE DOES NOT MATTER.  You know what does matter?  Your hygiene.  As long as you are clean and can help us reach the parts that you want waxed we do not care about your size.

Body positivity is a big things these days.  I’m all for it.  Anything that makes anyone feel GENUINELY better about themselves I’m on board with.  If running 10 miles make you feel great then run 10 miles (I will not be doing this with you.)  If eating nothing but vegetables makes you feel great then chow down.  Yoga everyday?  Go for it.  Getting a Brazilian wax or any kind of wax at Beach Ready Waxing? Absolutely!

Never should you be shamed or singled out because of your size, your color, your religion, your politics, your anything really.  IT’S JUST A WAX, FOLKS—we aren’t trying to do anything here but make you feel smooth and confident.  Come here hairy, leave here feeling amazing.  We certainly want to be a part of that.
